David currently serves as Senior Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer of the Edmundite Missions, with responsibility for accounting, finance, human resources, facilities, and oversight of the development department. He has more than 25 years of experience working in the field of accounting in various industries. He came to the Missions after serving for several years as the Controller of a minority-owned community bank, and more recently as the Director of Finance at a Public Housing Authority. In carrying out his duties, David is always guided by the words of the Missions’ founding priest, Father Frank Casey, to, “do the best we can, with what little we have, to serve those most in need.” David holds the distinction of being the first individual of African ancestry to serve in this position in the organization. He graduated from the University of the West Indies in Kingston, Jamaica, with a bachelor’s degree in Management Studies and a Master’s degree in Accounting. David is a Certified Public Accountant and is a member of The Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants.
