Greetings Partners in Ministry!

We are halfway through Lent, and eagerly anticipating our celebration of the greatest miracle mankind has ever known…the Resurrection of our Lord.

As I have being praying in preparation for Easter, my mind has kept going back to the many miracles I have witnessed over the past year.

Miracles that you made possible!

Again and again, you opened your heart to God’s most vulnerable children. So in this issue of the Newsletter, I want to give you an idea of just what your gifts have meant to the people you have helped.

On these pages, I’ll give you updates about some of the people who turned to us last year in their hour of need so you can see how, through your love and generosity, you helped change their lives for the better.

I hope you will look back with pride at what you have accomplished – and I also hope you will look ahead with a renewed sense of promise about the miracles we can make happen in the days, weeks, months, and years to come.

Edmundite Missions relies on many people to make our work possible. The cooks and staff at Bosco Nutrition Center who perform the tremendous task of preparing and serving more than 1300 meals every day, 365 days a year. The drivers who deliver our Meals of Hope to the elderly and infirm. The many sisters, brothers, staff members, and wonderful volunteers who help provide emergency, and often lifesaving, help to people in their hour of deepest need.

Yet, if not for you, none of them would be able to perform their vital jobs! Your generosity provides the food, the transportation, the clothing and shelter that the poor in the Deep South depend on to survive.

So as we prepare to celebrate Easter, please know that you bring the Resurrection spirit of new life and new hope every day to people who need it most. Please enjoy this edition of the Newsletter along with my sincerest wish that God will continue to bless and keep you always.

In Christ, I remain
